Already September??

So much has gone on these last few months I wonder if I can remember it all! Well here goes.
In July Andrew, Christopher, Melissa and I went to see Wicked. It was amazing.

View of the stage

In front of the sign...not sure what face Andrew is making...silly.

Melissa and I. She's so pretty!

Andrew had been reading like fiend! He's already pretty close to finishing the 2nd book in the Eragon series. I love seeing him reading!

Andrew had his 25th birthday on 8/9. Here is his cake! Pretty!
 About to blow out candles!!
Looking pretty pleased with himself for blowing them all out!

I finally have mastered pot roast! I keep trying to have enough left over to make Mom's yummy cream cheese and beef mixture on a tortilla but it's always gone. Oh well.

In other news, I found out 8/31 that I was pregnant, but unfortunately ended up miscarrying that same night. They have determined I was 8 weeks along. I'm feeling a lot better now and have the pain and bleeding under control.

I will admit that I am getting a little tired of having my blood drawn. I had my blood drawn 4 times in 5 days and I really only have one good vein to draw from. I have to keep having them drawn until my levels are down to 5. On Friday they were at  60,000 then on Sunday 7,000 and on Tuesday 2,000, so they are going down. I have to have another draw on 9/11 and I have an appointment on 9/14 to see what's happening there.
Andrew has been absolutely amazing during this rough time for us. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life; and one who continually blesses my life with the power of the priesthood. I know that I wouldn't have been able to get through this week without him.   He brings me chocolate and ice cream and  buys me wonderful presents to cheer me up! And I never say no to presents!

Earring that remind me of the Eiffle tower
 Beautiful roses he got me.

He also got me this beautiful charm to add to my bracelet to remember the occasion. He has such good taste.

i
These are the beautiful flowers my Mommy sent me. Thanks Mom!

Melissa and Christopher brought me some earring that are in the shape of the Eiffel tower which I love. They also brought yummy cucumbers and tomatoes. It was super nice of them. I haven't had time to take a picture of the earrings.

All in all it was an interesting experience that seems very surreal I do appreciate all the prayers and support from my family and friends. I'll have to try a bit better to keep this updated. Next up: Anniversary Pictures!

What?! It's February already!??

Wow, I can't believe that January is over and we're halfway through February! Time sure does fly!!
This is what we've been up too...
We celebrated Melanie's 3rd birthday!!
I finished my Valentine's Day pillow with the fabric Mom sent me.

And Andrew finished his Assassin's Creed II game.

I'm going through all the paperwork that Andrew has in this big box to organize it. I'm done sorting into years, now I just have to go through and put them into categorizes....that part only took me 5 hours...
And of course, it's snowing again.

Oh, and we got our taxes done. We didn't get as much as we hoped but that's ok. I forgot that we get a ton more back when you go to school so we'll defiantly have to do that this year. We had 8 W-2 and two states to do so we went to and had them do it. We got the piece of mind protection so that if they did anything wrong they will pay the fees and do everything for us; and that is priceless! Something I don't have to worry about! The only thing that really stank was that it took 3 1/2 hours for the person to get it all done because she wouldn't stop talking about random stuff!! OMG!! Oh well. It's done now!

Anyways, things are going good here. Just working and hoping to get some promotions soon, but we'll keep you updated!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Finally! It has arrived! As 2011 was winding down the Hinds' Household was hit with sickness. It started with Andrew having a cold and then progressed to me getting something like the flu and having to go to the ER for dehydration. I don't get it, every year I get sick at just about the same time. I'm doing a lot better though. I also have a middle ear infection so the doctor gave me something for that.
Other than that we had a very good Christmas. Mom and Alisha were out here and that was super fun. Andrew got me this pretty charm bracelet and some gift cards to my favorite places and I got him some computer games.

With my Barnes and Noble gift card I got I got the remaining books that I needed for my Luxe series. I super love them. Yay!
Here is this super creepy house that I guess they think is festive. The zombie kid on the right is terrifying. I wouldn't want this on my porch, that's for sure.
Melissa was my draw name and this is what I got her.

This is an older picture, but this is what Andrew looks like without shaving for a month. No Shave November!

Other than being sick, we've been doing great. Work is crazy with the holidays but that happens. And it's funny because it is so true!!
Here are some of my resolutions:
1.Get fit!
2. Go back to school
3. Go to the temple more often
4.Be a better blogger

Andrew hasn't decided what his resolutions are yet, so we'll get back to you on that.
